Learn To Trust
Human life is very precious and is meant for achieving true happiness. Every life is a mix of good and bad experiences. They exist together to make human life complete. At times, the course of life turns so drastically that we are wonderstruck. This too gives a mixed experience for good as well as for bad. It has rightly been said that half of life is 'IF'(note the two middle letters of the word LIFE) and three letters is 'LIE' ( read it without f). But to see life partially is not fair,it has to be seen in totality. From this point of view, all experiences of life teach us to grow and to become wise.
Undoubtedly, knowledge or education distinguishes man from the rest of the earth 's creatures. Moreover, the actually process of learning through everyone undergoes one enriches one's knowledge to become a complete person. For providing education, we have set up institutions such as schools, colleges, unversities and research and training centers. Real learning always remains a process which-one may choose to take up and pursue individually.
Does it therefore mean that learning necessarily depends upon some specific set of circumstances like place, facilities and the various means and procedures evolved for the purpose? On the other hand, is there always scope for one to learn, no matter what his or her surroundings are, the real life experience count finally.
Do the scholarly and the educated make use of it in their day -to-day life in order to become more resourceful and contented, marching towards a state of stability and fulfillment? Perhaps the answer is invariably "No" .Have you ever questioned it??
The healthy "management -employees " relationship is very important for the progress of any organization. 'Man's is the most important resource of any organization but unfortunately least attention is given in any organization to man -making. We tend to pay more attention to resources like buildings, equipments, furniture etc. The management is sometimes unduly concerned about working -hours also. True, but these are subservient to man, no amount of external facilities can motivate a man to improve his productivity. Such facilities do help, but marginally.
Now the question arises as to how an inner urge can be created in human beings. Inner urge is the part of human personality. It may be dormant in some cases. The need is to revive this urge. Human beings need to be trusted. Not doing so may lead to devasting consequences. Placing Trust in employees, always benefits organization. Care must be taken while doing so.
Trusting is a two -way process but the initiative has to come from those in superior position. A precondition of trust is the realization of a common objective. The goal of an organization should be well defined and known to everyone. An individual should also know his or her role in the realization of the goal and feel proud of it. All should be given due importance and treated with dignity. A truly professional work culture should be call of the hour.
Such as atmosphere does wonders in the organization. The general experiences have shown that more than 80% of the employees respond positively. The management should think from their point of view. May be their experiences have not been good. May be their personal life is not happy or may be the management has not done justice in some of their personal matters. And lastly, some margin may be left for the circumstances in which they happen to be. Once these factors are taken care of, other follow the suit and get into the mainstream of the organization.
An open approach is necessary. The management should operate in a purely professional manner and on a continuous basis otherwise their may be cracks in the course of time. The management should take firm action whenever necessary. Our experience is that such occasions arise rarely.
Communication plays a vitle role here. In the absence of proper communication, even good intentions of management or employees are misunderstood and may lead to unhealthy situations. Our view is that there should be minimum secrecy in decision - making. Once we accept the principal of participative management, transparency follows. It is necessary to create forums where communication takes place in a healthy atmosphere. This may be in the form of periodical meetings.
Decisions -making comes next. Mere good intentions are not enough unless these are converted into action. Issues such as annual increments, crossing of efficiency bars, PPF, ESI, leave sanction etc. are very important from an individual 's point of view. A system should be developed so that these problems are addressed.
Another important factor is working environment. It should be ensured that employees working environment is reasonably good, keeping in the view the resources of the organization. I am of the view that lavish expenditure is not necessary for this purpose. All that is needed is to take timely care of the buildings, furniture and other necessary equipments. The management should not expect good work from a person who sits on a broken chair on an empty stomach.
Trust is like a thin thread which correlates all the N'Djamena (Man, Material, Money Moment) together.
Wonderful✨😍
