Why wait for tomorrow?

Why do we tend to postpone the work for tomorrow? If it could be done today itself, why don't we finish it off? May be we want to have time to think plan or give it a second thought. True, patience is important but it too needs to be timed in the face of the pace of activities taking place around us. But if the magnitude of the work is quite handy and demands little thought, immediate executive is possible. It gives immense satisfaction and saves a lot of our time and energy that we can use for our future plan of action .

It has been commonly observed that whatever any work is assigned to anyone, the immediate response is a sympathy demanding smile and a request for a day's grace. Why aren't we well equipped for meeting challenges head on any moment? Why do we lag behind? Do we lack the potential? No, we don't! We often tend to fabricate excuses, expecting the situation to pass by without affecting us. Brooding is boring and dampens our enthusiasm. We try to get away from the situation for the time being but does it ever leave us? The straight and honest answer is -No!

Procrastination leads to hurriedness at the eleventh hour and things often begin to happen in a haphazard manner. Somewhere deep in us our confidence and courage is shaken. By taking firm decision we may charge our mental batteries and come up dynamically. If we don't do so, we lose the golden opportunity to add new dimensions to our personality. We just need to ignite the fuel within us, and of course, we can do it.
